This Mexican influenced area is a must see in San Diego! It reminds me of Mexico in Epcot (my FAVORITE Disney park just in case you were wondering :p). This “town” has many little boutiques to shop in and plenty of restaurants! Along with the restaurants, there was live music where people were dancing and enjoying themselves. 

My favorite little spot was Cousin’s Candy Shop. So many treats to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Also, there was a shop filled with wind-chimes and cute little signs that are adorable to fill the house with… I wanted them all!

To celebrate my mom’s birthday, the family and I went out to The Grove to eat out and shop! The area is so beautiful. What I absolutely loved about going at night is that it was not too crowded, but not deserted either.

California Stop 1: Santa Monica

I’m back! I haven’t posted in ages due to work. Lemme just say… camp counselors don’t have the most fashionable attire :p But school is about to begin and I’m ready to start posting again! I just came back from California and I am going to share the most memorable stops along the way.

Stop 1: Santa Monica.

This area is known for its crowded beach, its pier filled with rides, and its never ending mall. My family and I went to the pier to check it out and found it very busy, but extremely enjoyable.

First time wearing a maxi skirt and lovin’ it!

Dolled and Proud

I couldn’t be more in love with this maxi! The temperature decreased slightly today, so I paired it with a jeans jacket to keep me warm.

As for the top, I wore a white crop top to match the stripes on the skirt. 

As for the scarf, I wore a floral scarf to give my look a springy feel 🙂 

For the few times I took off my jacket, the back of the shirt was seen with its beautiful pattern!

Sometimes the things you are most afraid of are the things that make you the happiest.
