One thing I learned from being out here in L.A. is that I regret not starting what I’m doing now, sooner. Obviously, better late than never, but I can’t help but imagine how many more opportunities would be available to me right now if I had started my current routine earlier. No, I did not expect a full on global pandemic to interfere with my hopes and dreams (seriously, why you gotta do me like that?), but if I had invested in myself earlier, I would be set up for better success now.

Quarantine With Christine: Reset Day

As mentioned in my previous post, finding motivation during quarantine was becoming nearly impossible for myself. To recap, I have struggled with mental health since middle school. These times have caused a lot of extra anxiety, especially being a recent college grad who just moved across the country with no job. I would like to say, this does not lessen anyone else’s struggles at the moment, but is just what I have been facing on my own. 

I decided to invent what I call a “Reset Day”. Okay, I probably am not the first person to come up with this idea, but I thought of it myself, so I deserve a little bit of credit 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Quarantine With Christine: Easy Steps to Better Yourself

Life at the moment couldn’t be weirder. This whole quarantine thing has done a lot for me, good and bad. About a month ago I had just moved out to LA to pursue my dreams in the entertainment industry and this has left me out here struggling, without work. It has given me a lack of motivation on so many levels and has created an environment for myself that makes it almost impossible to get out of bed in the morning. Almost impossible to shower. To eat. To exercise. To do anything that would be considered productive, even in the slightest. It has gotten to a point where I believed that painting my nails meant I was pushing myself.
