This week has been an opportunity of a lifetime. In fact, this entire summer has allowed me to grow so much. I’m extremely thankful that I’ve been able to spend the past 2 months traveling! A little body positivity post: As many of my followers may know, mental health has been a real obstacle in my life. This includes struggling with body image. I personally have been lucky enough to not experience body shaming, but I’ve faced challenges with personal comfort in my own skin. It has resulted in eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. The desire to “fit in” in contemporary society took over me for years, but now I feel proud of the way I look. You have to come to the realization that there’s only so much you can do and that you have to accept what you are born with. And with that comes happiness and confidence.
