Christmas in Boston

Christmas time in Boston has to be the most wonderful time of the year. With a variety of beautiful sights to see, you will never be bored. Here are my top sights to see in Boston during the holiday season!

Boston Winter

Located at City Hall Plaza, Boston Winter is so cute and a must-see. There is an ice skating rink shaped like no other and plenty of warm snacks and drinks to enjoy. In addition to this, there are plenty of shops to help you buy the perfect present for a loved one. Be sure to stop by soon! The holiday market is open until December 29th, but the ice-skating rink is open until February.

Boston Common

The famous Boston Common transforms into a beautiful winter wonderland during the holiday season. It all starts off with an annual Christmas tree lighting celebration. All at once, the entire park lights up creating a magnificent sight. Along with being able to walk in the snow surrounded by loved ones, you can ice skate at the Frog Pond as well!

P.S. The perfect first snowfall idea: find the inner child in you and sled down the hill or frolic in the snow singing Christmas music and Disney’s Frozen songs! 🙂

Faneuil Hall

Faneuil Hall has so much to offer – from shopping to a light show, it is guaranteed that you will fall in love! You can kill two birds with one stone here because you can shop at brand names for your loved ones and enjoy the holiday season at the same time! That’s not it – a fantastic light show can be seen here as well! The Christmas tree is a whopping 83 feet tall and is the perfect spot for that artsy insta pic. After walking around Faneuil Hall, make sure to stop by the Boston Harbor as the wonderful Christmas decorations continue to impress!

The Nutcracker

This show is a must-see during the month of December. It is held in the Boston opera House with tickets sold online here.
