Xmas in NYC

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

There’s a first for everything! This was my first time in NYC during Christmas and it did not disappoint. It truly puts everywhere else I’ve been to shame with the lights, the shopping, and the multiple holiday markets!

Let’s take a closer look into my three days of this holiday vacation.

Day 1

The first day was filled with your typical sight seeing from the 9/11 Memorial to the Empire State Building. I expected Macy’s to be decorated, but not this impressive. Macy’s was its own winter wonderland within the city. From interactive window sights, to a detailed interior, I was incredibly pleased!

Went for a simple and cozy look for Day 1! Even though the blanket scarf kept hitting my face thanks to the wind, it did keep me warm.

At night, I saw the Rockettes with my sister and her hubby and was amazed with the entire performance. I definitely recommend this show to put everyone in the Christmas spirit. Afterwards, we walked around Rockefeller Center and spotted the famous Christmas tree, and wow was it huge!

I felt so classy in my nighttime outfit! I wore a navy sweater underneath an all black attire along with a white and navy scarf to make everything pop.

Day 2

Day 2 was filled with holiday markets and holiday lights – so festive, I know  We went to the market in Bryant Park and Union Square. Afterwards, we wandered around the city to admire all the beautiful decorations. On our journey we got cookie dough from DŌ, Cookie Dough Confections. It was my second time here and I absolutely love this place! I got some holiday flavors like gingerbread and peppermint hot cocoa… so delicious! In addition to this, we stumbled upon Sézane, a French boutique. Not only were the clothes adorable, but they had coffee, treats, and a photo booth to enjoy!

Day 3

On the final day we strayed away from the holiday glam and went for a stroll around Central Park! All I can say is, that I wish I could walk here every day.
