Stop 5: The Americana at Brand

One of the best shopping areas I’ve ever been too. So many stores!!! Also, right next to The Americana is the Glendale Mall, which lemme just say was a very successful shopping day for me :). Between the number of restaurants, the mall, and the outdoor shops, made The Americana at Brand a very enjoyable shopping day for the family and I.

To celebrate my mom’s birthday, the family and I went out to The Grove to eat out and shop! The area is so beautiful. What I absolutely loved about going at night is that it was not too crowded, but not deserted either.

California Stop 3: Malibu

Stop 3: Malibu and Solstice Canyon 

For stop 3 on my California Adventure, the parents and I stopped by Malibu! To kick things off, we went for a hike in Solstice Canyon. The area was a bit sunny and there was not really any shade, but was definitely worth suffering the heat.

After the hike, we went down to enjoy the wonderful beach! I personally love how the beach is not very crowded, allowing a lot of personal space and privacy.

California Stop 2: Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure

Stop 2: the famous Disneyland

The second day was probably one of my favorites. Yeah, Disneyland is no Disney World, but it is still Disney and that makes it the happiest place on earth. 

The whole family did both parks in one day. Yes that was as hard as it sounds, but by timing the fast passes correctly, the impossible became possible! 

My top five must do’s at Disneyland/ Disney’s California Adventure:

1. Toontown (especially since this no longer exists at Disney World!!)

2. Space Mountain

3. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

4. Car’s Land (Lemme just say… worth the sight (especially at night)!

5. Toy Story Mania
